About Us

Every project has a story and so does Peacock Woodworks...

—  About us —

My family have been craftsmen since my great grandfather arrived at Ellis Island. For four generations we have worked construction and building and taken joy in creating things with our hands. Woodworks, especially working with reclaimed materials is where I light up and really enjoy life. There is something really rewarding about taking old wood, bits of metal and other reclaimed materials, then enhancing and reshaping them to create something new and unique. I consider myself lucky to be able to do what I enjoy most for a living and want my customers to get as much enjoyment out of my work as I do.

North Carolina has a lot to offer for woodworking with a whole host of reclaimed materials available. It is also a wonderful place to live. I was born in Yonkers, NY but grew up in Pittsboro, NC. I am proud to be raising my family here. I still live in Pittsboro with my wife Heather, and my two great kids Brianna & Isaac and our dog Jax.

When I'm not in the woodshop, I may be out cruising the town in my vintage Ford truck, hanging out with my family or looking for new and interesting materials to work with. I hope to see you around.

(Early in life we lived on a tobacco farm like the five generations before us on our mother’s side. This inspired me to select old tobacco sticks for the top to make this coffee table. It’s a beautiful heritage piece, I made for my folks. My brother Daniel made the knife.)
